Electronic heavyweights Bassnectar, Bonobo, Rüfüs Du Sol and Kaytranada — along with global luminaries such as Richie Hawtin, Troyboi, Sam Gellaitry, Bomba Estereo and Perfect Stranger — will perform at this year’s Lightning in a Bottle Festival, which returns for a fourth year to the San Antonio Recreation Area near Bradley, about a hour north of San Luis Obispo, from May 24-29.
The lineup also includes a smattering of rock, soul and folk artists, including Thao & the Get Down Stay Down, Jhene Aiko, Orgone, the Herbert Bail Orchestra and the California Honeydrops. Buzzy electronic duos Brasstracks, Vallis Alps and Bob Moses are also on the bill. And the contingent of L.A.-based artists also includes Elohim, NomBe, Madame Gandhi and Edith Crash.
The festival also has its traditional offering of art, educational and lifestyle activities.
Tickets for the festival, which is curated by the Do Lab, went on sale in late January.
