What “Fun.” The new Dikayl Rimmasch-directed video from Blondie sends the Hall of Fame band’s 1970s persona hurtling through space, partying on Mars (where drag queen Raja joins in) and back again. “Fun” is the first song from Blondie’s 11th album “Pollinator,” out May 5. The band might be four decades on and Debbie Harry will turn 72 just before their big summer tour with Garbage hits kicks off in July, but here Blondie sound ageless. “This is music as it’s supposed to be,” the frontwoman says in the album announcement. “Filled with spirit, fun and true soul.”

The band calls “Pollinator,” produced at New York City’s the Magic Shop by John Congleton, their most collaborative album yet — it features songwriting contributions from Dev Hynes of Blood Orange, Charli XCX, Dave Sitek of TV On The Radio, Nick Valensi of the Strokes, Johnny Marr and Canadian indie-rocker Adam Johnston. It also features vocals from Joan Jett, cross-dressing comedian-singer John Roberts, the Gregory Brothers (founders of Songify the News) and, on a hidden track on the CD version, Laurie Anderson.
