Los Angeles concerts for Friday:

The Jesus and Mary Chain play the Wiltern in support of their new album “Damage and Joy,” their first in 19 years. Get there early for the Warlocks.
Poptone — the trio of Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins (Bauhaus/Love and Rockets/Tones on Tail), along with Haskins’ daughter Diva Dompe — play a sold-out show at the Teragram Ballroom that will feature songs from those three bands’ catalogs. Nostalghia opens.
HOTT MT celebrate the release of their new album “AU” with a night at a warehouse space at 147 Ave. 18. The evening will feature a screening of Czech classic: “Saxana / The Girl on a Broomstick” (1972), followed by performances by Czech artist Never Sol, and then the headliners.
► Delta Spirit frontman Matthew Logan Vasquez plays the Bootleg Theater in support of his new album “Does What He Wants,” his second solo full-length in as many years. Juanita Stein opens.
Rodriguez, the 74-year-old singer-songwriter who was the subject of the 2012 Academy Award-winning documentary “Searching for Sugar Man,” plays the Luckman Fine Arts Complex at Cal State L.A. Arum Rae opens.
► Australian singer-songwriter Paul Kelly (joined by Charlie Owen, with Cat Clyde) visit the Hotel Café behind their duets album “Death’s Dateless Night.” Later, Matt Ellis plays.
► And New Jersey-bred “hip-hop/punk mutants” Ho99o9 rock the Echoplex in support of their album “United States of Horror.”
