► Day 3 of Echo Park Rising brings Miles Mosley & the West Coast Get Down, the Buttertones, CRX, Alice Bag, Moon Honey, Surf Curse, Laetitia Sadier and more various venues around the neighborhood. ► Foster the People, the Head & the Heart and Haim head up the lineup at the ALT 98.7 Summer Camp at the Queen Mary Events Park.

► 311 visits the Hollywood Palladium, with New Politics opening
► Seattle hip-hop duo Shabazz Palaces play the Regent Theater, supported by Porter Ray and Derrick C. Brown.
► Decorato celebrate the release of a new EP at the Troubadour, joined by the Shakers, Andy Allo, the Mosaics and Alice Underground.
► Long Beach’s annual Buskerfest goes off in the East Village Arts District (at 1st and Linden streets) with Milo Greene, Wargirl, Joachim Cooder and Bob Forrest & Mike Martt of Thelonious Monsters, along with seven others.
