► OneRepublic headlines the Forum, joined by Fitz & the Tantrums and James Arthur.
► Los Angeles trio L.A. Witch celebrate next week’s release of their debut album with a free show at Levitt Pavilion in MacArthur Park. To make things even more beguiling, they are joined by Frankie and the Witch Fingers.
► John Dwyer’s OCS — fka Oh Sees, fka Thee Oh Sees — play a sold-out show at the Teragram Ballroom, supported by Zig Zags and Lars Finberg.
► The Fontaines celebrate the release of their new EP, “Playgirls,” with a show at the Troubadour, joined by Perta, Luci and Vincint.
► New York’s the Fever play a sold-out show at the Roxy.
► The free Sunset Concerts series at the Skirball Center closes out with an appearance from Venezuelan singer Betsayda Machado, along with the musicians and dancers of La Parranda El Clavo.
► Coastal Clouds [see their “Nothing to Hide” EP] headline the Bootleg Theater, supported by Paige Calico and Okay Embrace.
► And it’s a night of shoegaze and other walls of guitar at the Satellite, where Snowball II is joined by Teleskopes and Black Sea.
