Taste of South Lake: Poliça to headline free afternoon of music Oct. 14

Minneapolis synth-pop band Poliça will headline this year’s Taste of South Lake, a food and music festival in the South Lake Avenue district of Pasadena.

The event, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 251 S. Lake Ave., also features performances from FRENSHIP, Parlours, Katie Welch and Cosmos & Creature, along with foodie-fest staples like culinary sampling, cooking demonstrations, a vendor village and a beverage garden. KCRW’s Raul Campos will spin between sets.

It’s free and all-ages.
