Atlanta punk-rock trio the Coathangers will headline two free nights in November at Alex’s Bar in Long Beach, where they will record a live album.

The weekend is called “Two Nights of Magic” — they indeed will include magic and comedy — and the dates are Nov. 9 and 10. The shows are free, but an RSVP is required: Go here to do so.

“We want to share the rawness of a live show and wanted to invite people to take part and have it be free,” the band said. “That was very important to us. We are intent on capturing a real moment between us and the audience. A snapshot.”

The trio released their new “Parasite” EP earlier this year and today unveiled the new video for the song “Drifter.”
