You want passion? AWOLNATION brings you “Passion” — and not just the L.A. rockers’ new single from their forthcoming third album, “Here Come the Runts,” due Feb. 2. This passion comes via the star of director Ravi Dhar’s video for the single: disabled skater Og De Souza of Recife, Brazil. De Souza, afflicted with polio as a child, does not have use of his legs and began skateboarding as a means to get around. He became a hero for attempting and landing the same tricks as the best skaters.

“Og has a such an amazing passion for life, positivity, and of course, skating,” AWOLNATION frontman Aaron Bruno says. “It’s an inspiration to me and what he does is a great example of how to overcome obstacles in life through your passion. I know music has saved my life on more than one occasion. It’s an honor for us that he wanted to be a part of this video and share some of his life together.”
