► Ariel Pink, whose new album “Dedicated to Bobby Jameson” came out in September, headlines the Regent Theater, joined by Gary Wilson & the Blind Dates.
► Sweden’s Shout Out Louds, who returned this fall with their fifth album and first in four years, visit L.A. for the first time since 2013, playing the El Rey Theatre. Surf Rock is Dead and Sarah Chernoff open.
► Toronto indie trio the Rural Alberta Advantage headline the Troubadour in support of their latest album, “The Wild,” with Yukon Blonde supporting.
