All anyone knows about Beach House’s new as-yet-untitled album is that it’s coming, sometime this spring via Sub Pop/Bella Union/ Mistletone. The Baltimore duo of Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally are keeping things mysterious, sharing a new song, “Lemon Glow,” paired with a warping fractal visualizer and no further details. It follows their 2015 releases, “Depression Cherry” and “Thank Your Lucky Stars,” and last year’s “B-Sides and Rarities.” Their music’s always been the stuff of dreams and this track emphasizes hypnotic propulsion with its interplay of keys, guitar, drum machine beats, and Legrand’s whisper-in-your-ear vocals.
