BOND is the new collaboration between Brian Harding (who was the male half of the duo Ex Cops before moving to L.A. and making the brilliant album “Slow All Over” as Blond Ambition) and Andrew Miller (who played guitar in Dum Dum Girls and produced “Slow All Over.”) During their time in the studio, they bonded over an affection for jazz and ’70s funk and disco, and their work has yielded two singles that come out Friday. “Body” unfolds almost as if an invitation to the dancefloor, opening softly before dissolving into a propulsive disco number with gurgling beats and the addictive chorus, “You know to how use / your body.” It’s less of a banger than it is a song for dancing at a little bit of distance, so you can properly admire your partner.
