After 18 years, six albums and countless forays into the eccentricities of math rock, Seattle’s Minus the Bear bid farewell to Los Angeles on Sunday night. Their show at the Fonda Theatre was one of the last on “The Farewell Tour,” mapped out this summer after the band announced it would be disbanding.

Minus the Bear gave their dedicated fans a final show they deserved, performing a career-spanning set ranged from “Fair Enough” (title track of the EP they released this year) to early gems like “Thanks for the Killer Game of Crisco Twister” and “Lemurs, Man, Lemurs.”

Minus the Bear plays its final Southern California show tonight at the Observatory.

Tera Melos, a powerful math-rock trio from Sacramento, got Sunday’s show started.
