Welcome to the info page for DEAR AUSTIN: LOVE, L.A., Buzz Bands LA’s day party in conjunction with SXSW.
BUZZBANDS.LA, brings nine of the southern California’s best emerging bands to Austin on Wednesday, March 14, for “DEAR AUSTIN: LOVE, L.A.†— a kickoff party concurrent with the first day of the 2012 SXSW Music Festival. The free showcase runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Opal Divine’s Freehouse, 700 W. 6th Street, Austin. No RSVP is necessary.

There will be free drinks and giveaways for early arrivals — just look for the Buzz Bands LA staffer in the blue-and-gray Los Angeles Dodgers road jersey.
