Wavves got rowdy, Cults got moody and Kaki King mesmerized at Saturday’s first Sunstock Solar Festival, where the stage was powered by Sol himself.
The inaugural Sunstock Solar Festival kicks off at 4 p.m. Saturday, with a lineup of Cults, Wavves, Allah-Las, Kaki King, the Big Pink, yOya, Gateway Drugs and Trapdoor Social, all for $20.
“We want this to be where eco-minded people come to party,” Trapdoor Social’s Skylar Funk say of the Sunstock Solar Festival on June 18. Cults, Wavves and Allah-Las top the lineup.
The solar-powered Sunstock Solar Festival, the brainchild of Trapdoor Social’s Skylar Funk, goes off at the Autry Museum in Griffith Park on June 18. Eight bands in all, it’s for charity.
