It’s the Know Your Local Geography Quiz: The album “Tonight: Franz Ferdinand” comes out Jan. 26, and video for the Scottish post-punkers’ new single is “Ulysses” (which debuted today on Spinner) bounces around the Eastside, including Spaceland and Sunset Boulevard in Echo Park, along with the obligatory glimpse of the 2nd Street Tunnel downtown, frolicking in the desert and restlessness in random motel rooms. The song is in a slatternly way reminiscent of “Take Me Out” — let’s tweak out and have a drink in honor of dirty synths.
