Crowds were noticeably thinner this year at the Sunset Junction Street Fair – I heard more than the usual harumphing about the musical lineup, which overall was long on diversity but short on sizzle – but those who did attend embraced the neighborhood-y vibe. For them, it was the most manageable festival in recent memory. Photographer Laurie Scavo, new to the Silver Lake environs, captured these images from Saturday:
