Silversun Pickups have been piling on the miles since they released their sophomore album “Swoon” – the L.A. quartet has played 33 shows since the middle of September. They’re back on their home turf for today’s inaugural LA 101 event at the Gibson Amphitheatre, headlining a main-stage lineup that includes Dengue Fever (7 p.m.), Matt & Kim (7:45) and the Dandy Warhols (8:40). And there’s fine matinee entertainment on the KROQ-FM locals stage starting at 3:15, with the Flying Tourbillon Orchestra, Aushua and Funeral Party. … Today marks the deluxe reissue of two Devo albums – “Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo!” and “Freedom of Choice” – and the original members, joined by drummer Josh Freese, plan a new album in 2010 and a tour showcasing their classic albums. Tonight at the sold-out Fonda Theater, Devo performs “Are We Not Men?” (Tomorrow’s “Freedom of Choice” show is not yet sold out.) … Lights, along with Stars of Track and Field, plays the Troubadour. … Central coasters Port O’Brien headlines the Echo, with the Parson Red Heads supporting. … It’s Warpaint and Seaspin at Spaceland. … And at the Echoplex, it’s the” Lucero “Ramblin’ Roadshow and Memphis Revue.” … Also: Daedelus and Jogger at Cinespace; Black Whales at the Silverlake Lounge; Actress at the Viper Room; Minus the Bear and the Antlers at the Glass House; Caitlin Crosby at the Hotel Cafe; and Matt Costa at Saint Rocke.
