It gets going at 7 p.m. … New trio Wet & Reckless headlines Spaceland, with the Rhone Occupation among the openers. … Metal is in order at the Troubadour, where Texas’ Fair to Midland headlines and Opus Dai, one of the best purveyors of prog rock in these parts, opens. … At the Hotel Cafe, Bleu and Mike Viola team up for a long evening, with each singer-songwriter playing his own set, followed by material from the pair collaborations (which will feature also feature members of Rooney). … Also: The Viper Room’s “10 Days of 2010” featuring Crash Kings and Darlings of the Day; Brazzaville and David J at the Echo; Suki Ewers at Taix; Pearl Harbour at the Smell; Yeti at the Dragonfly; and Best Coast at Synchronicity Space.
