Two residencies kick off tonight, including shoegaze foursome Seaspin [highlighted last summer] at the Silverlake Lounge with Corridor and Yours Til Death supporting, and the Delta Mirror [highlighted last week] at the Echo with Healamonster & Tarsier supporting. … The Spaceland residents this month (Moonrats) don’t arrive until next Monday; so tonight there’s a bill featuring White Arrows and Spirit Animal. … And at the Hotel Cafe, there’s a set by Ari Hest followed by a Buddyhead-presented bill with members of Dios, Circle Jerks, Slang Chickens and Throwrag. … Also: Costa Nova at the Viper Room; Blok at the Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa; and Juiceboxxx at Pehrspace.
