We Are the World has been earning raves for its kinetic dance music and its live visual spectacles. The band kicks off a three-week Thursday residency at the Echo to celebrate the release (next week) of its Manimal Vinyl debut “Clay Stones.” … Downstairs at the Echoplex, the Onion’s “Our Big Dumb Book Event” boasts live music from Division Day and funny stuff from “Reno 911’s” Tom Lennon and Ben Garant and writer Megan Ganz. … And Vancouver trio Yukon Blonde, whose trad-rock has been compared to Fleet Foxes and Local Natives, among others, hit town to play the Mint. … Also: Seneca Hawk at the Viper Room; HoneyHoney at the Hotel Cafe; Radio Moscow at Spaceland; Viza at the Troubadour; Dante vs. Zombies at the Redwood Bar;  Astronautalis at the Bootleg Theater; and Bad Religion at the House of Blues Anaheim.
