I’ll Remember This Forever Because: It became clear early on at Coachella on Saturday that there were a lot of goddamn people at the polo fields. Maybe it was when I heard the fourth anecdote of people who walked in without tickets. But it was definitely when I saw the hundreds sitting outside the Mojave tent for Beach House. As I remember it, Madonna drew just a handful (or, OK, a dozen handfuls) more to the dance tent in 2006. However they got there, the crowd got one of the day’s best sets – Beach House’s woozy synths and cinematic vocals saturated the hot afternoon and carried well beyond the Mojave’s walls.
