[Happy Ozomatli Day. That’s right, the City of L.A. is honoring the band, which released its new album “Fire Away,” this week, with a ceremony at City Hall. The band jams at 1:45 p.m.]

Tonight: Everybody Was in the French Resistance … Now – the side project of Art Brut’s Eddie Argos and the Blood Arm’s Dyan Valdes – plays Club Underground at the Echo with Ezra Furman and the Harpoons. … I hear that Cameron Mesirow (the voice behind Glasser) has her album finished; no news on the release yet, but she plays the Bootleg Theater tonight. … In the large rooms, it’s Norah Jones (with Sasha Dobson opening) at the sold-out Orpheum; Hole [pictured at SXSW] at the Fonda; and Him at the Wiltern. … Also: High On Fire at the El Rey; Tyrone Wells at the Troubadour; the Fuxedos at Spaceland; Bleu with Mike Viola at the Hotel Cafe; and  the Ivy Walls at the Viper Room.

Saturday: Stagecoach, the country music Coachella, starts a two-day run in Indio with Keith Urban, Merle Haggard and others. … Black Prairie, which features three members of the Decemberists, visit the Bootleg Theater, with L.A.’s the Living Sisters opening. … Austin quintet Shearwater headlines Spaceland, with Wye Oak supporting. … And the Quiet celebrates the release of its sophomore album “Let It Fall” at the Hotel Cafe. … Also: Jennifer Knapp (early show) and Assembly of Dust (late show) at the Mint; Marcy Playground at the Key Club; High On Fire at the Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa; Joey Ryan and Kenneth Pattengale [pictured] at McCabe’s the Spires, the French Semester and  Divisadero at Pehrspace; and Manhattan Murder Murder at 2 Headed Horse (1770 Glendale Blvd.).

Sunday: There’s the second day of Stagecoach, with Toby Keith, the Avett Brothers and locals Truth & Salvage Co. … At the Echo, the matinee installment of Kidrockers for parents and children should be a fun one – Warpaint and His Orchestra entertain at the 1 p.m. event. … Also: The Monolators at Spaceland; Sara Haze at the Roxy; Javelin at the Bootleg Theater; and the Bloody Beetroots at the Palladium.
