Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers get all bluesy on “I Should Have Known It,” the first single off his forthcoming album “Mojo” (due June 15) and a song that features a nice bit of shredding from guitarist Mike Campbell. “Mojo” will be the first disc of new material from the band in over seven years, and the Heartbreakers embark on a massive tour to support it in early June (finally arriving at the Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 1 and the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre the following night). Petty is also conjoining ticket sales with album sales – buying a concert ducat gets you an immediate download of two songs from “Mojo,” a download of the album the day it comes out and eight more digital tracks to be recorded on the tour. Oh, and the band plays this week on “Saturday Night Live.”
