Sorry for the long time between posts. The schedule has been pretty tight, with lots of overnight drives, which equals not a lot of good sleep for me. I’m definitely looking forward to a day off in Nashville tomorrow. What a great city. I always have a great time there.
I know I’ve said this before, but this tour has been going so well. Every night we play I feel so lucky to be in this band. I am so proud of both Nicole and Michael. They’ve shown so much confidence and composure the whole time. I truly love playing with them. And what can you say about Billy? He delivers the goods every single night. Every single night. That isn’t easy to do.
Being the massive ice hockey fan that I am, last night was a special for me. The last thing I expected to happen at our show in Fort Lauderdale was meet Vancouver Canucks goaltender and 2010 gold medal winner, Roberto Luongo. Although the Canucks eliminated my Los Angeles Kings this year, I still have the upmost respect for him. Not only is he a monster player, but he was also the nicest guy ever. He was very generous with his time and agreed to take this photo with me.
