The cool video for Foals’ “Blue Blood” makes a star out of a child in a school hall, and it’s not the first time director Chris Sweeney has scored with a dance-tastic music video. Sweeney was responsible for the shape-shifting in Marina and the Diamonds’ video for “Mowgli’s Road.” Foals, meanwhile, earned a Mercury Prize nomination for this year’s “Total Life Forever,” an album that injected an engaging dose of musicality into the rhythmic complexity found on their 2008 debut “Antidotes.” They’re romping around the U.S. on a 22-date tour.
