[Happy birthday, Zack de la Rocha. Now on tonight’s menu:]
Top charitable outing of the night:
‣ Fishbone bassist Norwood Fisher (along with the charitable group AngelCare) hosts “All the Angels,” a benefit for children in Haiti, at the Central SAPC in Santa Monica. Besides guest speakers, a silent auction, a raffle and live art, some of the musicians scheduled to appear are Trulio Disgracias, Flea, Meet Me at the Pub, and the Eric McFadden Trio.

‣ Tijuana-bred songstress Ceci Bastida (pictured), supported by Very Be Careful, headlines the Troubadour.
‣ The Quick Hellos [see yesterday’s post] make their debut at the Bootleg Theater, on a bill with Heather Porcaro & the Heartstring Symphony, Whispertown and Jake Bellows of Neva Dinova.
‣ Free Moral Agents play Low End theory at the Airliner.
‣ Electro-pop up-and-comers Foster the People kick off a free residency at the Echo.
‣ LA Font tees it up at the Silverlake Lounge, with Future Ghost and Two Guns.
‣ And Jesca Hoop returns to the friendly confines of the Hotel Cafe, where Anna Nalick and Johnnyswim also perform.
