[Happy birthday to U.K. songstress Laura Marling, all of 21 years old today …]

Tonight, a tip for every taste:

‣ Louisville electro-pop outfit the Pass (that’s their video for “Walk Away”) plays the Satellite, with locals Marvelous Toy and  Airlines opening.
‣ Nashville singer-songwriter Tristen headlines the Echo, supported by Hi Ho Silver Oh and Marcus Very Ordinary.
Some guy named Ozzy rocks the Gibson Amphitheatre.
The Western States Motel kicks off a residency at LaBrie’s in Glendale.
Sara Lov, along with Haroula Rose and Patrick Park, holds forth at the Hotel Cafe.
‣ And the party of the night ought to be Check Yo Ponytail at the Echoplex, where Das Racist, Yelawolf and 87 Stick Up Kids gather for a night of hip-hop. Local dudes 87 Stick Up Kids will release their debut album “Car Keys & Rabbit’s Feet” in April.
