Big week ahead for shows, starting tonight:
‣ The Airborne Toxic Event, the L.A. quintet that broke big out of Silver Lake in 2008 and went on to sell 208,000 copies of its debut album, brings it back home this week. The band, whose sophomore album “All At Once” comes out Tuesday, starts a week of L.A. venue-hopping with a show at the club at which it built its buzz, the Satellite (known as Spaceland back in ’08, of course). That’s the video for TATE’s new track “Numb,” above; tonight’s sold-out show also marks the last night of the Walking Sleep’s residency.
‣ Seattle folk-rockers the Head & the Heart plays a sold-out show at the Troubadour.
‣ Rumspringa closes out its residency at the Bootleg Theater, with Moses Campbell supporting.
‣ Wake Up Lucid ends its stand at the Silverlake Lounge, with the Bellows opening.
‣ And Amanda Jo Williams winds up her month at the Echo, with the Overstreets and the Dick and Jane Family Orchestra also playing.
