Buffalo Springfield are back at it again and they’re playing The Wiltern this time around.
Archers of Loaf and The Globes please ’90s rock enthusiasts again by returning to the Troubadour for night two.
‣ Producer Greg Kurstin and singer Inara George take a break from their side projects (such as the Living Sisters for George) to play as L.A.’s beloved The Bird and the Bee again tonight. It isn’t just any regular night at the Bootleg though. Tickets are for seats at a table and all profits are benefiting Operation U.S.A..
Amor De Dias, the musical team-up of Alasdair MacLean from the Clientele and Lupe Nunez-Fernandez of Pipas, play the Satellite. Damon & Naomi and Bell Gardens support.
The Antlers [see “Every Night My Teeth Are Falling Out”] and Little Scream [that’s her video for “Red Hunting Jacket” above] also go for round two in the SoCal area. Only this time they’ve headed over to the Glass House in Pomona.
‣ Swedish indie rockers Peter Bjorn and John perform at Detroit Bar.
‣ KROQ’s sold-out Weenie Roast takes over the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre where locals The Airborne Toxic Event, Foster The People, Young the Giant, and Bad Religion will join The Strokes, Lykke Li, and more on stage.
