The bluesy swagger of My Goodness hits you like that first belt of coffee on foggy morning. It’s the creation of Seattle duo Joel Schneider, whose guitar licks carry the requisite lightning, and Ethan Jacobsen, who drums with suitable thunder. Their debut album, which came out in April on Sarathan Records, holds up pretty well amid today’s crop of blues duos – a little punkier than most, dirty enough, and, thanks to Schneider’s foreboding quaver, memorable.
