‣ This month’s installment of the Sunday Night Jones at the Satellite figures to be lively – headlining is L.A. six-piece Little Richard cover band, Big Dick, fronted by singer Kate Flannery. Nicole Eva Emery also performs along with the night’s host, Daniel Ahearn. A songwriter’s circle follows in the upstairs lounge after the performances.
‣ It’s another night of fireworks and Hall & Oates at the Hollywood Bowl.
‣ The Vans Warped Tour moves up the coast to the Ventura County Fairgrounds.
