‣  Thao & Mirah, their self-titled album on Kill Rock Stars winning a lot of indie hearts, visit the Hotel Cafe. (And did you see their cover of “Love Is a Battlefield”?)

‣ Andy Clockwise vaults into his residency at the Satellite, with Lemon Sun and the Hundred Days opening.
‣ And two residencies that kicked off on the Fourth of July continue – LA Font (celebrating the release of its “Sharks” 7-inch) at the Silverlake Lounge with Queen Kwong and the Ross Sea Party, and Crystal Antlers at the Echo, with Cold Showers.
