Quite a Thursday night ahead:

A.A. Bondy headlines the Bootleg Theater behind his new album “Believers.” [See why we believed.] Nik Freitas, whose new album “Saturday Night Underwater” came out this summer, opens.
Gillian Welch (pictured) headlines the Music Box behind the new album she made with Dave Rawlings, “The Harrow & the Harvest.”
‣ L.A. Afro-pop-inspired quintet Fool’s Gold, whose sophomore album “Leave No Trace” came out this month, plays a hometown show at the Troubadour, with Tijuana Panthers opening.
‣ Legendary sitarist Ravi Shankar plays his twice-postponed (once due to visa problems, once because of illness) at Walk Disney Concert Hall.
Jimmy Eat World marks the 10-year anniversary of “Bleed American” by performing that album at the Wiltern.
‣ Montreal’s Braids headlines in the Echo, bringing along L.A. Pepper Rabbit – whose new album “Red Velvet Snowball” came out in August – as opener.
Stephen Brower & the Silent Majority celebrate the release of their album “sb/sm” at the Silverlake Lounge, with Trevor Menear and Parents supporting. [See our post on “sb/sm.”]
