L.A. Buzz Bands Show, at midnight on KCSN

2

It’s the first Sunday in October, my favorite month of the year, and to celebrate I have a bountiful harvest of new music at the ready for tonight’s L.A. Buzz Bands Show on KCSN (88.5 FM). You’ll hear fresh tunes from the likes of Hot As Sun, Holloys, Little Red Lung, the Sea of Cortez and Luther Russell, along with favorites from Everest, Hanni El Khatib and more. Plus, I’ll wind up the show with the Buzz Bands Hall of Fame track, a nugget from an album that came out 15 years ago. Tune in at midnight (or visit KCSN.org) for an hour’s worth of SoCal music. After the jump, I’ll have the playlist:Hot As Sun, “The Desert Song”
Holloys, #25″
Little Red Lung, “Rare Bird”
Hanni El Khatib, “Dead Wrong”
The Ross Sea Party, “Broken Arrows”
Everest, “House of 9’s”
