Abandoned Pools sign to Tooth & Nail Records

Abandoned Pools, the solo venture of songwriter/producer/multi-instrumentalist Tommy Walter, have signed to Seattle-based Tooth & Nail Records. The label will release the L.A. native’s third album “Sublime Currency” later this year.

Walter, an original member of the Eels, released two albums in first half of last decade on two different labels – 2001’s “Humanistic” helped Abandoned Pools gain a loyal cult following (though Extasy Records dissolved not long after its release), and “Armed to the Teeth” followed in 2005 on Universal. Since, Walter has written for film and television, worked in production and collaborated in Glacier Hiking.
