‣ San Francisco’s The Mallard (formed by ex-Rademacher bassist Greer McGettrick) headline Bootleg Bar with their garage psych-rock. [That’s their video for “Mansion” above.] Also on tonight’s bill: Magic Trash and the Vivids.
‣ Power pop hero Matthew Sweet does an in-store at McCabe’s Guitar Shop in Santa Monica.
‣ And the Los Feliz Village Street Fair continues the string of L.A. neighborhood music festivals. Boasting three stages, the fun starts at 11 am and lasts until 10 pm. Their musical lineup includes Fort King, Kind Hearts & Coronets, among others.
