L.A. Buzz Bands Show, tonight at 7 on KCSN

Join me at 7 tonight on KCSN (88.5 FM) for the L.A. Buzz Bands Show, which this week is in large part about happy returns. We’ll hear from Earlimart, who this past week announced their first album in four years; Tsar, who are releasing their first music in seven years; and Redd Kross, whose album “Researching the Blues” is their first in 15 years. I’ll also premiere music from Western Lows, the new band from Jack Burnside (Mezzanine Owls), and have songs from a couple of the local artists playing the Sunset Strip Music Festival next Saturday. Plus, new tunes from Sea Wolf and Allah-Las.

Set your radio dial to 88.5 at 7 p.m., stream on the web at KCSN.org, or listen via TuneIn Radio app on your mobile device.

After the jump, tonight’s playlist:
