Thursday things:
‣ Silversun Pickups visit the Santa Monica Civic behind their third album, “Neck of the Woods” – that’s the video for “Bloody Mary (Nerve Endings),” above – with support from School of Seven Bells and Atlas Genius.
‣ The Vaccines’ new album is called “The Vaccines Come of Age,” and it’s out Oct. 2. Early returns are very promising. The young London rockers hit the Troubadour, with L.A. blues duo Deap Vally opening.
‣ And Robert Francis returns to the venue where he did a residency a year ago, the Bootleg Bar, to headline a show behind his new album “Strangers in the First Place.”

Really anticipating The Vaccines show. My first time and you’re right: “Teenage Icon” sounds awesome. Their songs are just so catchy. And at the Troubadour? My favorite venue in LA easily.
