Today’s going to be a scorcher, but there are plenty of shows to keep you cool:

The Walkmen and Milo Greene do a second SoCal show together this week. This time they’re at the Observatory in Orange County.
‣ Canadian electronic band Austra [pictured above] brings their “dark wave” to the El Rey Theatre. Nightmare Fortress and Vice Device support.
‣ Port of Los Angeles’ Lobsterfest down in San Pedro continues with Dum Dum Girls, JJAMZ, NO, Lili Haydn, Taikoproject, Youngblood Hawke, the Damselles & the TC4 [see “Dig Up the Hatchet” from Thursday], Davis Fetter and Sarah Radle.
‣ It’s a solid night at the Roxy with Abandoned Pools, 8MM [see “Around the Sun” from Wednesday], Soundcannon, the Blank Faces and Second Wheel.
‣ Electronic maestro Pretty Lights brings his combination of funk, hip hop, soul and dubstep over to the Shrine Auditorium.
Avicii competes for ravers at the Santa Monica Civic.
The Bolts [see “Walk Away” from Thursday], Hudson and Young Beautiful In A Hurry and DJ Josh Stevens all team up at the Troubadour.

So Many Wizards at Westwood Recreation Center where “The Karate kid” will also play in conjunction with the performance.
