@KRBronson recommends: First, there’s Spirit Animal, in from NYC to play the Satellite on Tuesday with Jutty Ranx and Busy Living. Then, there’s Scotland-bred psych- and electro-pop quartet Django Django, who take on L.A. for the first time (Monday at It’s a School Night at Bardot and Wednesday at the Echo). Which means I should be in a fine mood when Earlimart celebrates the release of its new album “System Preferences” on Friday at the Satellite.
@Seraphina_L recommends: Alt-J, Wildcat! Wildcat! and Cayucas at the Bootleg Theater on Saturday. Since fans couldn’t get enough of them the last time this U.K. band made their rounds in L.A., the eclectic Alt-J returns for another highly anticipated show. Support will come from recent local electronic favorites Wildcat! Wildcat! and Secretly Canadian-signed artist Cayucas.
