‣ Mumford & Sons are back for their second night at the Hollywood Bowl, with the Apache Relay and Dirty Projectors supporting.
‣ Sky Ferreira heads up a lineup that includes DWNTWN and the Rebel Light at the RSVP-only It’s a School Night at Bardot. That’s Ferreira’s video for her new song “Sad Dream,” above.
‣ And it’s a stellar night for residencies: In the Valley Below plays the Bootleg Bar, supported by Parade of Lights, James Supercave and Crown Plaza (side project of So Many Wizards’ Nima Kazerouni); the Record Company plays the Satellite, supported by the Nervous Wreckords, the Dustbowl Revival and Trapper Schoepp & the Shades; Drive He Said plays the Silverlake Lounge, supported by Wardel and David LaBrel of Olin & the Moon; and the Abigails play the Echo, supported by the Tyde, Wet Illustrated and Apple Brains.
