Everything digested from last week? Here’s your Monday madness:
‣ No Doubt is back for a second night in their big run at the Gibson Amphitheatre, this time supported by Grouplove and IO Echo.
‣ Chicago’s Wild Belle [our recent missive] visits the Echo, but just as important for us is the SoCal appearance by Deep Sea River, the Seattle band fronted by O.C. native Jessica Dobson. She has spent much of the year playing guitar for the Shins; now Deep Sea Diver tours behind its fantastic album “History Speaks.” Pageants kick off the night. Above, Wild Belle’s video for “Backslider.”
‣ Big night at In the Valley Below’s residency at the Bootleg Bar – Sabrosa Purr caps the evening, and Omniflux and Cotillon support.
‣ The Record Company winds up its residency at the Satellite, supported by Das Tapes, the Peach Kings and Strange Vine.
‣ Drive He Said wraps up its residency at the Silverlake Lounge too – the Gimme 5’s and the Deux Sons open.
‣ The Abigails’ residency finale at the Echoplex includes Cosmonauts, the Garden and Feeding People.
‣ And the Neighbourhood – on tour as the support band for Interpol’s Paul Banks (including Dec. 5 at the Fonda) – takes a timeout to do a headlining gig at the Viper Room.

Super stoked for Wild Belle. I’ve loved every song they’ve came out with, especially “Keep You.” Can’t wait to see them before they explode.
