Happy new year, and all that. January is going to bring us plenty of new music – and in the short term, plenty of great local shows. Today’s installment of the Buzz Bands LA Show on Moheak Radio will preview some of those, including the FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) event tonight at the Echo and the Satellite Nights series of free shows at the Satellite. It’s a prime week to catch up on your local bands, so besides freshly arrived tunes from Hunter Hunted, the Ceremonies, the Eagle Rock Gospel Singers, 7Horse and Pop Noir, today’s program will serve up goodies from some bands playing all those local shows, including Incan Abraham, the Abigails, Seven Saturdays, Brian Whelan, Rival Sons and Thorcraft Cobra. Tune in at 11 a.m. for two hours of SoCal tunes.
