‣ Punk icons Pennywise continue celebrating 25 years with their second sold-out show at the Palladium this weekend.
‣ Social Distortion plays another House of Blues show. This time, they’re in Hollywood.
‣ He’s My Brother She’s My Sister [pictured above] celebrates the release of their forthcoming album “Nobody Dances in This Town” (out Jan. 22 via Park the Van) at the Troubadour, and they’ve invited friends Jenny O., Ramshackle and Tommy Santee Klaws to join the party.
‣ The Satellite also has another solid local lineup featuring Spirit Vine, Native Fauna, Dignitary Loss, John Roller (of Gestapo Khazi) and Nick Jago. Christian Gibson will be spinning tunes.
‣ And Ozomatli plays St. Vibiana as part of EarthWE.com’s “A Green Term, Mr. President,” an event to elevate the subject of global warming.
