One of those mammoth Mondays:

‣ It’s release week for Local Natives’ sophomore album “Hummingbird,” and the L.A. quintet plays the first of two sold-out shows with Superhumanoids. Tonight’s show is at the Fonda Theatre.
Niki & the Dove play the El Rey Theatre behind their album “instinct,” supported by Vacationer and Kan Wakan.
‣ U.K. piano man Tom Odell, just 22, makes his L.A. debut at It’s a School Night at Bardot. He will be joined on the bill by Swedish electro outfit Urban Cone, also making their L.A. debut, and local trio Wildcat! Wildcat! That’s a Brit Awards’ video of Odell performing “Another Love,” above.
‣ And the January residencies come to a close, and they have been dandies – PAPA (supported by Chief and Sean Bones) at the Bootleg Theater, Feeding People (supported by Froth, Corners, Drinking Flowers and Heroes & Heroines) at the Echo, Yellow Alex (supported by Jhameel and a Portugal. The Man DJ set) at the Satellite and Maximum Hedrum at Los Globos.
