Update: My Bloody Valentine announced just before midnight London time that they have posted their new album to their website. Like many, we suspect, we are getting a “server too busy” message.

That new album from My Bloody Valentine could be coming as soon as … tonight? The legendary shoegazers posted this on their Facebook page today:

We are preparing to go live with the new album/website this evening. We will make an announcement as soon as its up.

Repeat visits to their website this afternoon are greeted with a “403 – Forbidden: Access is denied” message. As we have for years, we’re staying tuned. As we post this, it is 11:59 p.m. in London.
