My Bloody Valentine and Beck, Yeah Yeah Yeahs will headline this year’s FYF Fest on Aug. 24 and 25 at L.A. State Historic Park.

Also on board for the multiple-stage event: TV on the Radio, MGMT, Deerhunter, Devendra Banhart, Beach House, the Melvins, Solange, Yo La Tengo, Foxygen, Toro y Moi, Jonathan Richman and Kurt Vile. As a bonus, the Breeders will celebrate the 20th anniversary of “Last Splash” by performing the album. It was originally rumored that Beck would be playing the festival, but Carlson said he is not.

The festival, started a decade ago as a neighborhood DIY event by then-teenaged Sean Carlson, this year moves from Labor Day Weekend to the weekend in August once occupied by Sunset Junction. Carlson explained to KCRW “Morning Becomes Eclectic” host that the festival will be slightly scaled back this year – music will start at 2 p.m. rather than noon because of the sure-to-be-oppressive heat.

Tickets are $99 for a weekend pass – a bump from last year’s $77 – and there will be a limited number of single-day tickets will be available for $65. Tickets go on sale at noon Thursday.
