A super Saturday for shows:

‣ The legendary Ian Hunter is 73, but the Mott the Hoople main man sounds every bit the impetuous youth on his brawny new album “When I’m President.” Ian Hunter & the Rant Band visit the El Rey Theatre tonight. His live setlists have included new material and catalog gems, including “Saturday Gigs” and, yes, “All the Young Dudes.”
Early show alert: Long-running L.A. indie rockers Radar Brothers celebrate the release of their new album “Eight” (just out on Merge) with a show at the Echo, supported by Babies On Acid and Young Unknowns. Doors at 5 p.m. [See “If We Were Banished.”]
‣ Punk-rock quintet the Bronx mark the release of their new album “IV” (out next Tuesday) with a show at Los Globos. Death Hymn #9 and Single Mothers open. [Check out “Youth Wasted.”]
‣ And indie-rock sextet Handshakes headline the Satellite behind their new EP “Villains and Crooks,” playing with an excellent lineup of local acts including Max & the Moon, Wages, Fire in the Hamptons and Bedcake.
