To use the idiom, March has come in like a lion, at least as far as our collection of new music goes. So you can expect a breezy hour of SoCal tunes tonight at 7 when the L.A. Buzz Bands Show convenes on KCSN (88.5 FM, streaming at KCSN.org). I’ll have fresh songs from Hanni El Khatib, Naive Thieves, Francisco the Man, Great White Buffalo, Hindu Pirates, Well Hung Heart and the new solo persona of the Sister Ruby Band’s Marlon Rabenreither, Gold Star. Along with some recent favorites from the likes of Hunter Hunted, Pageants and Jenny O., I’ll spin a couple of nifty cover songs too – one from the newbie Sami and another from Rachael Cantu.
