Harper Simon is doing the free Mondays in March at the Satellite, and to get things off on the right foot the support lineup on this opening night features Jenny O., the Living Sisters and Stephen Sowan.
‣ Sudan-born, New York-based Sinkane brings his wild funk to the RSVP-only It’s a School Night at Bardot, joined by three artists making their L.A. debuts, Alpine, Fetsum and Isaac Delusion. That’s Sinkane’s video for “Runnin’,” above.

Hunter Hunted kicks off its residency at the Bootleg Bar, supported by Body Parts and AAN.
‣ L.A. quartet Harriet has been busy working on new material, and you’re liable to hear some of it at the opening night of their residency at the Echo, where Brainstorm, Busy Living and New Life also perform.
‣ The Union Line is now going by Mt. Ossa, and they have the residency at the Detroit Bar in Costa mesa. Tonight’s party includes Tapioca & the Flea, Wildcat! Wildcat! and Mike Meza.
‣ And at Los Globos, it’s a dance party headed up by Hot As Sun, with Y LUV and He Met Her joining in.
